This Privacy Policy explains how Jitender Saini (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use DigiFrame (“DigiFrame,” “the App,” or “the Service”), a digital photo frame application. It describes the information the App may access, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information the App accesses
The information involved depends on the features you choose to use:
- Photos and media: When you select photos or videos from your device, DigiFrame accesses the selected items so it can display them as a digital photo frame. The App does not need access to media that you have not selected, except where a device permission or operating-system feature you enable provides broader access.
- Google account and Google services: If you choose to connect a Google account or use a Google service through DigiFrame, the App may receive the account or content information permitted by the Google authorization screen and the permissions you grant. This information is used only to provide the Google-connected feature you requested.
- Technical information: The App or its hosting platform may process limited technical information, such as browser or device type, app version, and diagnostic data, where needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or improve the Service. We do not intentionally use this information to identify you unless necessary to address a security or support issue.
- Support communications: If you contact the Developer, we will use the information you provide, such as your email address and message, to respond to your request.
2. How information is used
Information accessed by DigiFrame is used for the following purposes:
- To display the photos or other content you choose.
- To provide features you explicitly enable, including Google-connected functionality if you authorize it.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the App.
- To respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use personal information or Google user data for targeted advertising, sell it, or use it to build advertising profiles.
3. Google user data and limited use
If DigiFrame accesses information through Google APIs, that access is governed by the permissions shown during authorization and the applicable Google API terms. We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the App's interface and are permitted by the permissions you grant.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the requested feature, comply with law, or protect the Service and its users. We do not allow people to read Google user data unless you provide consent, it is necessary for security purposes, it is required to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
4. Storage and retention
DigiFrame handles content for as long as needed to provide the feature you are using. Content selected from your device remains subject to your device's storage and permission controls. Where a feature requires information to be transmitted to or stored by a service, that information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the feature, maintain security, resolve issues, or meet legal requirements.
Retention can vary by feature and by the settings of your device or connected account. You can stop further access by removing the relevant permission or disconnecting the connected account.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support the operation, hosting, security, or delivery of DigiFrame, and may be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the Developer, or the Service. Such processing is limited to the relevant operational purpose.
6. Your choices and controls
- You can choose which photos or content to display and can change or remove those selections using the App or your device controls.
- You can revoke Google account or API access through your Google Account's third-party connections and permissions settings.
- You can stop using the App or uninstall it at any time.
- You may contact the Developer to ask questions about information associated with a support request or to request its deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the way DigiFrame operates. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
DigiFrame is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to the Developer, please contact us so that we can review and address the matter.
9. Third-party services and links
DigiFrame may rely on or link to third-party services, including Google. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms. This Policy applies to DigiFrame and information handled by the Developer, not to the independent practices of third parties.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its features, or applicable requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
